Button Moon - Mono Monday: Weather

India is standing on top of the limestone pavements at Hutton Roof.

Super lazy morning and then we went on an expedition to Button Moon. Years ago the road sign was graffitti'd to say Button Moon and for us the name has stuck. The girls loved the hike up to the limestone pavings, the 360 views were amazing. We arrived at the top of the crag that India is stood on simultaneously with some climbers who came up the other side. Dylan arrived first and enthusiastically licked the first climbers face, she shrieked and almost let go of her ropes! I don't think she was expecting to see a happy brown dog at the top.

We had a good clamber round and Heidi declared we were all mountain goats. Although we had feared the purple clouds on the way up the wind chased them away and it was lovely and warm. We made our way down a different way all pleased with our new walk.

While I made dinner and India designed a dress, Mark washed the cars and Heidi happily flicked a soapy cloth around.
