Bluebells and Lomond Hills

I was up at Newtyle Hill with a friend to put the controls out for the Scottish Orienteering Championships Relays, that take place on Sunday. Although we only had 48 to do, it took over 8 hours, including building a couple of rickety stiles. The view from where we parked the car is good to the south, and you can see West Lomond Hill in Fife, behind the bluebells that were still flowering and the rapidly sprouting bracken.
