He's behind you!

We visited Mary Arden's Farm today. Mary Arden was Shakespeare's mother, and this was the house that she grew up in. It's only about 3 miles from where we live, and to my mind it's one of the best Shakespeare properties to visit - certainly for children. The tickets are also valid for one year, so well worth it if you live nearby.

There's always something going on there. Today they were sheep shearing using the old fashioned hand shears, milking goats, milking sheep, teaching archery, and there was a falconry display.

This bird (on the table) is an eagle owl, and was H - U- G- E and very beautiful.

It looks as though the only person to notice him was the baby!
