Anyone for a Punt?

Our Friday Frolics took us to the Antigua BoatSheds on the Avon River today, firstly for a welcome coffee at the excellent Cafe and then out with the cameras. The boatsheds were our first focus and then the Hagley Park Gardens. I aimed for a 'painterly' effect with my image.

For me personally it was a very welcome relief from shifting. The removal of everything from the house seems to be dragging on a bit - I'm not sure they finished this afternoon either.

Dating from 1882, the photogenic green-and-white Antigua Boatsheds are the starting point for Punting on the Avon , where someone else does all the work during a half-hour return trip in a flat-bottomed boat.
