Wetherby Bridge

After we had all visited my elderly aunt in Leicester, as the young folk had to return to work on Tuesday and Mr Flum and I, being retired, could take another day over coming home, we went our separate ways.

On our many journeys between home towns we used take a break in Wetherby, parking down by the river, but this is the first time we have found the path upstream from the bridge, and discovered the old millwheel with its cog, and the sculpture of leaping salmon, by Michael Liesener (just visible in large) by the weir, and a better view of the bridge itself.

We then continued to our B&B in Lovesome Hill.
