Coming Up Roses

Spent all day at the Gardening Scotland show at Ingliston, not necessarily looking for ideas, nor purchasing plants.

The show gardens were superb, especially the gold medal winner, The Perennial Garden, (Perennial in this case being a charity which supports horticulturalists in need).

Not all the gardens were so exuberant; The Pallet Garden and Planter Challenge aims to demonstrate resourcefulness in using whatever containers are available - and the range was as varied as shoes, drinks bottles or, as this Silver medal winning exhibit from Harmeny School, sweet tins.
