This is Sandra, she is a part of an ongoing project with two other sculptresses.
The idea is to show our individual work which has some contact points in terms of concept and aesthetics, as a group. We gave this project the title of Passiflora.
Saturday next is the opening of one of these exhibitions. We spent all day today at the venue moving our works up a flight of stairs, putting them in place, arranging the lights and doing all those things we do to make it all look good. I have to say we had the fabulous assistance of the workers there, who were great sports the whole time.
By the time the exhibition opens, when the public and our friends and family arrive everything as to look natural and easy.
