Hearing Double

It's not every kitchen that has a pair of resident double basses. One half of my wonderful hosts in Cardiff plays in a band (and other bands when required). He was asked at 11 pm last night if he could play tonight and this involves learning five new songs (by ear), hence we had breakfast with a rock 'n' roll accompaniment.
