Beach changes

Walked across Tramore beach, as a child it was my favourite beach, but it has changed dramatically over the years. The rocks we used to sit on & rock pools we learnt to swim in have all disappeared on the right hand side of the beach. The dunes have eroded & bales of straw have been buried in the sand to give the grasses a chance to establish, full tide never gets close to the caravan park now & the stream has been covered over years ago.
This photo looks back to the right hand side of the beach.
I walked up onto the headland where there are known to be Choughs, I did see one but was not quick enough with the camera, Inca enjoyed exploring. I decided to do a circular route & enter Sheskinmore Reserve from the end of the beach. I had not realised how long a route that would be but it brightened up & the birds were singing along the way. Wheatear, Meadow Pipit, Skylark, overhead a Lapwing, there are more orchids out since 2 weeks ago. Saw a male & female Stonechat towards the end of the walk.
