Seventy years on

Nearly thirty years ago I went with my father-in-law to the beaches in Normandy for the first time.It was a very moving experience and one that made you think about the people who fought and died over there. I have been back many times and it still makes you think. We all owe some much to the people who landed on these beaches and gave their lives for our way of life.
