A wee order of thirty one brooches made up of this nice mix of tartans completed today, ready for packaging and posting. This order included a few interesting tartans that I haven't seen before, the bottom left especially. This is the Apache tartan, designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apache Corporation, an oil and gas exploration and production company based in the US. The yellow in the tartan references the company's corporate colour, the blues and greys represent the North Sea, the purple represents heather, and the black represents oil. Very well thought out.
