Old friends

Mrs B and E and J have known each other for I don't know how long. On Wednesday they touched down in Carcassonne and a very fine time has been had ever since.
Including the amazingly delicious meal at Le Grand Bleu in Bouzigues, the oldest restaurant in this prettiest of villages on the lagoon and which boasts the best view in the area being directly situated at the mouth of the "grand avenue" between the oyster beds. Amongst the goodies consumed were 18 oysters, 1 enormous sole, 2 crabs, 4 huge bowls of soup de poisson, prawns, sea snails, an assortment of difficult-to-spot veggies and lots of cockles and mussels alive alive-o!

A truly lovely night and, when we left, L was able to take these photos without a flash. And then I borrowed them. Mea culpa. But you get the drift.
