Boat Ramp at Shilshole Bay next to Golden Gardens

6/7/2014 ~ Boat Ramp at Shilshole Bay next to Golden Gardens Park & Beach, Ballard Neighborhood, Seattle, WA

Evening walk down at Golden Gardens Park and Beach. the beach was standing room only just packed with kids, young adults, and families. Lots of volleyball, tossing frisbees and footballs along with barbecues and the associated odors wafting through the air of the food on the grill.

Out on the bay there were plenty of sail and motor boats and large marine traffic passing as well. As I headed back to my parked car, there was no getting a parking place anywhere close to the beach/park area, I stopped and took this image of a boat about to be moved onto a trailer for the trip home.

As is my routine lately, post a blip before the day is done and then head off to bed.
