With 100 days to go to Scotland's Date with Destiny it is making the news around the world - I think? Here in Qatar I have met many Scots who live and work here. Not surprisingly they are predominantly in the status quo camp. A fact that would have been well kent when it was decided that the Scottish diaspora were to be excluded from such a critical vote.

Whatever the outcome in September I hope that all those of us eligible to vote do so and that the turn out is really high. I also hope that whatever the final result we will all heed the late Margo Macdonald's wish that we work together for our country after the Referendum and respect the democratic will of the Scottish people.
