Thistle buds

I was messing about this morning with the special effects on my Samsung Galaxy 3. This is 'solarisation'. I had to look it up on the internet and it has photographic pedigree going back as far as Daguerre. Even if it's cheating a bit, I felt a bit braver about putting up this blip, purely in the spirit of experimentation!

I appreciated and was delighted by the lovely and very funny feedback for my snaily MonoMonday yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed looking through the huge variety of interpretations of the challenge, which initially seemed so mundane and yet turned in highly creative offerings, both photographically and in terms of mail-box design.
