Wednesday 11 June 2014: Black Medic

Another busy day at work, after work it was a full parish council meeting so today's blip is a little delayed.

Today's blip is a black medic flower (Medicago lupulina) which is a nitrogen fixing member of the legumes, and is sometime planted in poor soils as a fodder crop. It's related to clover and alfalfa, but not as often planted.
