The best is yet to come

"On this June day the buds in my garden are almost as enchanting as the open flowers. Things in bud bring, in the heat of a June noontide, the recollection of the loveliest days of the year - those days of May when all is suggested, nothing yet fulfilled."
Francis King

In May I think the summer will last for ever. In June I revel in the colour and light, and the holidays to come, in July I'm conscious of each day slipping by, and in August I'm thinking about new shoes, sharp pencils and the new school year starting over again.

Here, in June, it's not anywhere near over yet. I love that feeling.
