Breakfast at Tiffany's

The best thing to come out of Breakfast at Tiffany’s was the Oscar winning song: Moon River by Henry Mancini. Moon River has also been selected as the fourth most memorable song in Hollywood history by the American Film Institute. (Number 3 is Singing in the Rain, two is “As Time Goes By” and number one is “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” in case you were wondering. )

The Givenchy “Little Black Dress” worn by Audrey Hepburn in the beginning of the film is thought to be one of the most iconic items of clothing in the history of the 20th century. Most women own at least one little black dress.

In the film, Moon River is actually sung by Audrey Hepburn. Here’s a link that you might enjoy.

I encountered this little bee having his breakfast this morning, while I walked on the C&O canal towpath. I captured him thinking that today’s prompt was Breakfast at Tiffany’s, only to find out that it is for the 20th, but this seems to be a rule that can be bent.

It is Father’s Day in the U.S, so happy Father’s Day to all the father blippers.
