Spotted on the way home from Meadowbank this evening. Warm work on the football pitch with odd numbers tonight - we started with the extra man and then M swapped sides halfway through. The lead we'd built up with the numerical advantage wasn't really threatened. Scored three - a couple of tap-ins and a deliberate deflection of a long range shot - but would have swapped them all, as well as several weeks goals to come, if the half volley from way out, running onto a deep throw-in, had gone just under rather than just over the bar!
