The Culture of Moore Square

I decided today that when I go to get my morning coffee from Jerome at Sosta, I'll pick a direction and go around the block that way. This gives me a bit of exercise before it gets hot, time to see what's going on in downtown Raleigh, and a daily opportunity to take some pictures.

The artspace logo is a highlight of this building that both invites viewers and advertises both where and what it is. Painters, photographers, sculptors, and other artsy types can rent space here to work and sell their goods.

The inclusion of the Blount Street sign seemed absolutely integral to provide context of location as well as another bit of Downtown Raleigh's culture.
