Checking the hives

A while ago a pair of bee hives appeared in the garden of the Scottish Parliament and today I spotted four people examining the hives. You could clearly see a lot of bees buzzing around the bee keepers and I was glad I was on the fourth floor of the MSP block rather than any closer.

I think bees are great but I would not and could not be a bee keeper. I don't mind bees in small numbers, but couldn't face an entire hive of them.
