THE FLOWER OF THE HYPERICUM

A day of rather dark skies, so we stayed home, did little jobs, read a book and cleaned a bit, because tomorrow we'll travel.
I watered the plants in the containers, and look it started to rain! Not for the first time this is the case! But I could not resist the idea that my plants longed for water.

My haiku:

This flower can give
A treatment for depression
I can see why she does

And the proverb:

To look as if he/she had eaten his/her bedstraw.

1878 in J. Ray, A Collectyion of English Proverbs.
