Island of Discovery

Nikki tells me that it's not only me that's working hard over here in California, apparently, she and the wee man are working hard, too - on their tans. They spent the morning playing on the beach before coming to pick me up so we could go check out a nursery for our boy. And she wonders why I find it hard to sympathise when she tells me she's tired :)

We've been thinking that he really needs some socialisation time with other kids his age, so thought maybe we could put him somewhere for two mornings a week. Since it's only temporary, we don't really have the same list of requirements as we did when we started to look at nurseries before leaving Edinburgh. The place we saw seemed okay, in a really convenient spot though it is a tad expensive. We're wondering whether we should look around some more or just go with it since it's only 2 mornings a week? Any thoughts?
