Gala Queen

It was Harden's Children Gala today. The weather was perfect for it, and most of the village were out.
The gala queen is chosen by 'raffle' ticket at a children's disco earlier in the year. This year it as a lovely young girl who happens to be one of my neighbours. I had various photos I was going to use to try and convey the atmosphere of the day, but Jeanneb53 has done a good job of that, and I just love this photo of the gala queen waiting to give out the medals for the children's races.
