Mary's Peak

Today I had the great privilege to photograph the Mary's Peak 50K/25K Trail Race with my friend and professional photographer, Colin. Mary's Peak is the highest point in the Oregon Coast Range at 4097 feet and this race is incredibly difficult.

I took over 1400 photos throughout the day, but this woman, one of the 50k runners, was one of my favorites. She had the best smile, even at the most grueling points during the race. I am amazed at the endurance these runners have. Kudos to all of them. I was really inspired by what they accomplished today.
