Swan and cygnets

It's been one of those annoying weeks where I've had several days wondering what to use for a Blip, while today I've been spoilt for choice. Today there were two celebrations going on at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes; at the North Lake there were celebrations for the anniversary of the opening of the Peace Pagoda, with a Buddhist ceremony and various speakers. At the South Lake was a much more lively affair; the annual Dragon Boat Festival and races in aid of Age UK. I took pictures of each and had difficulty deciding what to use, but in the end I liked this shot best even though it doesn't include any of the celebrations.
