Wobbliness

A very pleasant evening was had last night at our friends over in Rossbrin. The sun shone, we dined out on their new patio with the most incredible views out towards Roaringwater Bay and the islands. We ate the most enormous pavlova made by a real new Zealander, Penny - apparently it's practically a national dish; and were treated to a visit by the exceptionally handsome Ferdia. Some very interesting conversations too from the origins of the mouth organ and concertina (only instrument invented by an English person) to the difference between natural vitamins and manufactured vitamins (none); to the state of bees (still dodgy) to the delights of Vancouver (manifold).

The proof of the book has arrived- so far all incredibly efficient. The paper is slightly floppy and not brilliant quality but we are getting what we're paying for. Is that good enough? We went over to Schull to consult with the woman who runs the book shop but she was out, so we'll return tonorrow. A wander around the quay and some interesting reflections and colours.

A lovely swim to finish the day; tortilla and chilli waiting on my return.
