badly equiped

So here's my first upload to Blip. I was out and about with my father and a couple of others from my camera club tonight, and unfortunately it was not the most successful evening for me for a couple of reasons. First of all, I don't have a macro lens. And as my dad was using his (no-one else had a compatible lens) I was restricted to the use of a cheap piece of plastic. So I gave up on that, and broke out a manual 500mm lens instead. So here was me, shooting something four inches high from twelve feet away, and this is what I came up with. And it's one of the only ones I got that I was happy with! As stupid as I must have looked, I think I'll try it again sometime.
