Besalu bridge

Up to the foothills of the Pyrenees today after yesterdays town day. We stopped at Banyoles lake where they held the rowing in the Barcelona Olympics, very nice it was too.

Next up Besalu a small town with this mighty bridge.

And then up to the volcanic park near Olot where we walked up and into the crater of an ancient volcano, very nice, very warm and very steep.

Time for a beer or two now as we are moving 500 odd km down into Spain tomorrow so a last night in magnificent Girona tonight a city I can highly highly recommend.
