Father's Day...

And the Christening of the new BBQ :))

A lovely lie in (for me....D was up early! :-) before D was overwhelmed by all his Father's Day gifts (a rain cover for his bike seat and a framed photo of Alan. Spoil him we do ;-))

Ele, Kenny, Agnes & Adrian arrived just after lunch and the guys had an afternoon playing golf while Ele, Agnes and I drank tea and ate cake. It's a hard life :)

The weather got duller as the afternoon wore on by we had planned to have a BBQ ands by heavens we were HAVING a BBQ come hail, rain or shine. Thankfully it stayed dry and the sausages, burgers and kebabs were cooked to perfection outside. And given the lovely, Scottish summertime, we ate inside :))

All the men declared they'd had an excellent Father's Day (which coincidentally involved minimal contact with their children ;-)))
