Second Breed ...

Second breed of a coot. The nest is built in a tunnel in a tunnel with a water flow under the subway (which in this district runs above ground).

Walking through that tunnel I was suddenly attracted by a kinda trompe l'oeil (fooler) caused by the sunlight.

Behind the nest is a flat concrete wall. But by the bright sunlight it seems like you see a slanted, three dimensional concrete beam.

The light is in the same way as it was in my blip 'Concrete Area' of last June 15.

Because the immediate area is almost the same, I chose a color version.
