Greenfinch

I was waiting for one of our local goldfinches to come for breakfast on the Nyjer seeds, when this greenfinch beat them to it. It stared straight at my camera, which was very handy for today's blip. I particularly like the way the sunlight was shining through its tail.

The goldfinches came later in the day...maybe I'll blip one tomorrow, if they oblige - but they are very easily scared!
