THE SPANISH NAVY VISITING OSLO

Juan Sebastian de Elcano is the third largest tall ship in the world, and sure look grand!

The ship was built in 1927 in Cadiz, Spain and is 113 metres (370 feet) long and has 4 masts. The navy use it as a training cruise for future navy officers . On the 4th year they spend six months at sea. The crew is more than 200 people.
They are in our city to celebrate our 200 anniversary of our constitution.
Oslo is they last stop on this trip. The cadets enjoyed to the harbors in south america and of course New York. After been in New York, Oslo must seem so little and quiet.
