Down at the Beach

First day back at work was rounded off with a lovely migraine. Working obviously doesn't agree with me!So I was glad to get out to the beach this evening to try and shake it off.

We parked up as normal. Poppy hopped out the car and headed off with me not far behind. Mr Lif hooked up Oscar and locked the car. Any of you who know Poppy will know she is a placid soul who never even looks at other dogs. All of a sudden two large boxers (dogs rather than humans) hurtled over to poppy and knocked her over. I heard the thump as she hit the ground. They then started to attack her. The two of them. I was screaming like a banshee to their owners to call them off. A pointless ex excise. Mr Lif was tearing up to Poppy, dragging Oscar and using his best army expletives. The owners eventually reached their dogs and managed to get them off poppy. They started heading for Oscar but Mr Lif had the ball chucker and managed to bat them away.

Poor wee Poppy was taken back to the car and checked over. She had blood on her but although shaken was not hurt. Luckily.

The owners did come over to check on Poppy and apologise. Telling us they were such nice dogs in the house....

Apparently one of their dogs was bleeding. i told the woman I didn't careBrave poppy wasn't prepared to take it lying down.

Oh and this is another entry for my Scottish Summer series ;)
