Poppies and Sea

Used the new lens today on our morning dog walk, and, despite the bad reviews, I was quite pleased with it - but then maybe I am easily pleased and am just not spotting the flaws.
Youngest son moved out today. Chaos ensued. Finally this evening we sat down for our meal in perfect silence when, suddenly, like a whirlwind he appeared again. The fridge door was opened, cupboards were opened and closed in his quest for food. He seemed slightly put out that there was only a quarter of a chicken salad left. I wanted to say that this did not feel like independent living but bit my tongue. As he left, he said he would be back tomorrow to pick up his washing which was in the "tumble dryer." Mmm.
