First Flight

The first swallow to leave the nest is sitting on the roof, while its parents circle noisly around it. Its three siblings are still in the nest. The parents now have to have eyes everywhere. While they keep an eye on the fledgling, they also keep returning to the nestlings to feed them, too. They must be exhausted.

I've managed to upload the little film that I took yesterday of the four nestlings. I filmed them from the stairs leading from the hallway, looking at the nest above the front door.
