Swiss rolls

Thursday morning is usually a yoga morning but with this being the last week of term I think our yogi got demob happy and let us off.

Having an unexpected free hour or two we thought we'd invite ourselves to a fellow expat's new house for coffee.

This is the amazing view from her first floor balcony, the perfect location to while away a few hours with coffee, homemade swiss roll* and girlie gossip.

* Emma, our resident cakespert, happily told us the cake was fat free, although the filling (cream cheese (could be wrong, wasn't paying as much attention as I should have) & lemon curd) wasn't, this didn't stop us from leaving only one piece on the plate.
