There are a lot of things going on in the city in the run up to the Commonwealth Games. These gymnasts were performing in Centreal Station to a very appreciative audience. Best viewed in large!

A day of rain for the first time in ages...... the garden needs it!

Thanks for the concern which some of you showed for my niece in the Outer Banks. Hurrican Arthur has now passed over, but they have had ingress of water as they had a wash over from the ocean to the sound. They had a very bad time with Hurrican Irene, so it is rather depressing, but when you live there this is what happens.
