Life's Little Moments

Tail feathers in an uproar...

Yes, I know...another hummingbird. And, no, I'm not the least bit sorry! I love this shot because you can see the beautiful iridescent feathers on her back and you can see her tail feathers spread in a classic defensive posture. Just out of the frame was a second hummer, explaining the big tail display. I counted 8 hummingbirds at one point today - although there could be more than that. They move so fast that it's hard to get any sort of accurate count.

Hubs and I ran a few errands, met with our Realtor and puttered around outside today. Just mostly enjoying being together and both painfully aware that tomorrow he's headed back to FL.

Our Realtor is not recommending a price reduction yet - she wants to give it another month. The market here is still very slow with the average time on market being about 4 months. That said, things in this price range ARE selling - it is just taking time. She is continuing to do lots of marketing in our county as well as adjacent counties. We are both very confident that we have the right realtor and that she is doing all the right things.

The cats are over their vet-inspired feud (thank heavens!) We are off to dinner with Hubs' racing partner and his wife tonight - they are lots of fun and I know it will be a good evening.

Thanks for stopping in, and for being patient with my lack of comments. Can't promise that tomorrow won't be another hummingbird...but maybe...
