The Water Is Wide

Out on the river, waiting for the fireworks - happy 4th.

Fortunately the birds that had decided to nest on the boat had fledged, but did sit patiently nearby waiting for us to bring back their home.

Last time there were eggs in the nest, so Colin had to move the nest onto a neighbours boat. The parents were a little confused at first, but adapted pretty quickly to the change of location.

He heard one bird say to the other "I could have sworn we on that boat over there?". :)
