My topsy-turvy life

Along the cut

Early start this morning to get down to Wolverhampton for the start of the Birmingham Black Country half(ish) marathon. 13.5 miles along the canal from Wolverhampton into Birmingham.

I didn't exactly have the greatest preparation for this one thanks to Wednesday's entertainment, and it proved to be a pretty tough race. Still, I wasn't too disappointed with 1:38:27, all things considered.

This was actually taken my Dad as I came round the final corner to the finish line, and just makes a change from the obligatory medal shot.
