Grocery shopping first thing, then before lunch a walk with Maeve the Deerhound and Apothecary7. Just for a change we walked down the road to the shore then along to Station Road and crossed at the level crossing to have a walk along the seafront in Carnoustie.

The tide was going out. The sun was shining, and the sea was shimmering.

We went as far as the golf courses then made our way back home along the High Street before joining our usual route.

I watched the F1 on telly. The British Grand Prix from Silverstone. A good win for Lewis Hamilton to put him back in contention for the World Championship.
