MONOMONDAY: Road

I seem to have become obsessed with nostalgic rural images although this one is in an entirely different location to yesterday's. I like the way that the morning light is at just the right angle to illuminate the well-compacted, unsealed surface here. I tried to process the image so that it might resemble Alfred Noyes version:
"The road was a ribbon of moonlight over the purple moor,"

Anyway this is my participating image for the MONOMONDAY: Road challenge, this week being hosted by GingerNan.
