Heat wave and Hitchcock's Jackdaws

The day has been cool indoors, due the aircontitioning at work, and hot outdoors: a heat wave finally came to Finland and we have been bathing in extreme warm weather today: some +28,5c in our backyard in the afternoon. All sunny. So lovely!!!

But as we are finns, this is just the kind of weather, as we like to go to the hot sauna in the evening - we freshen ourselves that way... So me and teens, we decided to take some bread, cheese, juice and sausages with us and jumped into the car and drove to the country.

A hot (+120c) sauna and warm (+23c) lake after sweaty day is a marvellous mixture. I really can recommend that, if you have not tried yet: you really feel fresh, dry and relaxed after bathing - and of course fire, wood & smoke and grilled food is maybe the only possible way really to enjoy about one's being alive...

Now back home, sitting in the garden sipping some sparkling mineral water and enjoying the warm evening - at 21.30pm there still is some +24c.

A mouse just visited in the garden, but after it saw me, it escaped somewhere near our fence... I am afraid that the "Minnie the mouse", which I saw already in winter, is still living here in our backyard... Hard to hear if it is moving somewhere as above my head some greenfinches are eating raw saskatoon berries.

(The blip is from the way home. A large shot is available here, if you like to place yourelf into the scenery...)

I truly am sorry about the dirty objective here. Have to try to clean if soon or now...

Take care, sweethearts!
Susanna
