For the Honey Crop

We are now well through the beekeeping season. My friend Janet, seen here, and I, decided today that as the swarming season had now passed, it was no longer necessary to do regular inspections.

This is a great relief because on a hot day and wearing all the beekeeping kit, it is really quite arduous.

So for a little light relief we removed some honey, which can be seen in the box in the wheelbarrow. This will find its way in to jars within the next couple of days.

The pressure is now off and we can start to relax a bit.
