Gorge Us

Samantha's vertigo had been pretty much held in check for most of our wander through the Rumbling Bridge gorge. Only a few nails gouged into my arm here and there as we'd walked along the paths. But the drop over the edge here as the River Devon tumbles away noisily under the bridges flipped it up to 11. She wasn't going anywhere near that 'rickety railing that looks like it might give way at any time.' Scarpered back up the steps sharpish as soon as I started jumping up and down to show how well built the structure actually was.
