New Planter

Today was the unveiling of a new grit stone planter sponsored by Costa Coffee (many thanks).
It's taken months of work to get district council permission for it's siting, risk assessment, insurance etc. etc. I could go on and on about all the requirements needed for something as simple as a planter!
Anyway it's here and many thanks to the Bakewell in Bloom group and especially Julia Zamoyski whose tireless work has made it all possible.
I really like the design which was is a combination of ideas from BIB's Corrine, Lady Manners School and Grafika.
It has a folk art feel to it with it's kingfisher and leaping trout something that you see a lot of where it's placed next to the river Wye in the Crescent.
