friendly cephalopods

He was obviously taking it all in when I was explaining about the two long grabbing tentacles and the shorter holding tentacles. Don't know that it started off as a squid: when he draws an E he adds an arbitrary and large number of cross-lines depending on the overall length required so might just have been filling up the available space with limbs/tentacles/protrusions/processes/pseudopoda.
