Summer Sun

Another view from the decking this evening. I know the weather is supposed to break tomorrow so I'm making the most of what we have just now!

I always think it's faintly funny to have to water the garden in Scotland. I always do the containers and veg beds of course, but generally leave the borders to fend for themselves.

This evening I thought things were looking a bit parched so hauled out the sprinkler to provide a good soaking where needed.

Luckily the breeze was blowing in the right direction - i.e away from me!!

Makes me wonder how my poor Mum ever coped with the garden in Australia!!
