In a Dogtown Moraine

We took a ride to Cape Ann today with an old friend and explored some trails in Dogtown, a section of Gloucester, Massachusetts. The area is strewn with glacial granite deposits, debris, also called a Moraine.

I have so much more I'd like to add about the walk, and the boulders with carved mottos, but it's late and I'm tired and ready to call it a day.
